Instructions come with the calibrator.

Electronic Calibrator Gauge Operating Instructions

1. Rotate the turntable to 90 degrees from the String Gripper (Speed/Tension Clamp).
2. Position the Swivel Clamp Base at the centre of the turntable.
3. Lock turntable.
4. Tie one string to the loop end of the Electronic Tension Calibrator Gauge.
5. Place the loose string into the String Gripper.
6. Attach another piece of string to the hook end of the Electronic Tension Calibrator Gauge.
7. Place that piece of string into the Swivel Base Clamp.
8. Lock clamp.
9. Set Stringing Machine to 55lbs (25kgs).
10. Turn Electronic Tension Calibrator Gauge on and tension the string as per normal.
11. Check that the tensions indicated by the Electronic Tension Calibrator Gauge is the same as the tension setting of the machine.
